It wasn’t even close. With 65% of precincts reporting, GOP Senator Saxby Chambliss leads DEM Jim Martin 60% to 40%. CNN has called the race.

It appears that with over 91% of the votes recounted, Democrat Al Franken has taken a slim lead over Republican incumbent Norm Coleman. The counting will continue and it is completely up in the air as to who will win, but at least this appears to be a bit of good news. Not bad news, [...]
